- Hello,
I'm quite new to OpenMX and was wondering which tools you use to create your input files? What do you use to create a certain geometric structure? Are there tools to convert files from other programs? Which tools do you use to plot your results (other than the already mentioned in the manual)?
Maybe we could make a collection of useful helpers in this thread.
Maybe as a start:
At http://k.1asphost.com/tubeasp/tubeasp.asp you can create the geometric structure of carbon nanotubes. The exported Xmol-format is quite easy to integrate in OpenMX (the lattice vectors can are only in the siesta-format)
Best Regards,
Jan
