- Hi,
You can directly read a cube file by WSxM without converting the format, and create STM type image by choosing 'Process' -> 'Filter' -> 'Create STM image' in the pulltab menu.

- Hi TO,
I noticed it is only the 8.2 development version that can read in cube files. It seems older versions of WSxM cannot. However, when I try to open a cube file in the development version I receive an error stating:
A general error has been detected and WSxM cannot continue working properly. If you are acquiring an image, please try to withdraw the tip from the sample in order to avoid tip damage. Then, restart the application.
Would you have any advice on how to solve this issue?
Regards,
Declan

I don't think so, since I have been able to open cube files and draw the map since more than four years ago. In my environment, I don't see any erratic behavior.
