Zeeman term in the OpenMx is not working! Date: 2019/05/14 05:48 Name: Santu Baidya   <santubaidya2009@gmail.com> Dear OpenMx users and developers, I have been using openmx for a while. It is a very effective software for electronic structure analysis. There is an implementation called "Zeeman term for spin magnetic moment". I need to apply Zeeman field for spin part only. I chose an easy example (Si) to see the effect of Zeeman field. I gave Zeeman field value of 1000 Tesla but I cannot see any change in the band structure. Can you please help by telling me how to use Zeeman field option in the OpenMx 3.8 version. Thanking you, Santu Baidya

I followed the link (http://www.openmx-square.org/whatsnew/whatsnew.html) from the OpenMx manual. I attach the "google drive link" here the Si.dat (input) file with the log file named LOG.out for your reference. You ca find that I have used the tag for Zeeman term for spin. But it does not work at all. In the log file you can see there is no Uzs (Zeeman field energy for the spin). Kindly suggest me how to use the Zeeman term for spin in OpenMx.
